Please read through our policies carefully. We believe that these are fair and to the point. Adherence to these few and simple policies will help to make our professional relationship the best it can be.

Any and all quotes given are good for 30 (thirty) days only.
After 30 days, ALL quotes will be reconsidered.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is a very serious matter and one we do not take lightly. If you provide us with any content, images, or any ideas that we find out at anytime are plagiarized, we reserve the right to no longer do business with you. If you are hosting with us, you will be given a time-frame in which to find a new host at which time we will transfer your site and remove your website from any page in our site and our name from all pages on your site. In addition, should we need to remove offending copy or images from your site, you will be billed a minimum of one hour at our posted hourly rates, $75/hr.

There is a very easy and simple way to avoid problems with plagiarism and possible lawsuits - just don't do it! It really doesn't get much easier than this. Do not take content from another's website. Do not lift photos from another's website. Do not take a layout, design, or color scheme from another's website. Just don't do it!

At RedLime, we have a zero tolerance policy on plagiarism. This includes anyone who steals content from our own sites or any website we've designed AND any client who presents us with stolen copy or images. We actively pursue and take measures against website theft - regardless of the person doing the copying.

Remember - just don't do it!

Company Policies

• Business hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am-4:30pm MST except for all holidays and unless otherwise notified. If you require work done outside these hours, additional fees will be charged. For those paying with "update blocks of time," your account will be billed time and half. If you need emergency updating/maintenance, simply note as such when making the request and we will get to it immediately (for the extra fee). Thank you!

• We have many clients that have sales of varying types. Preparing sales takes time. All sales are due no later than 15 days prior to their opening date. If you fail to provide the sale by the due date, your sale may not be available on the opening date you had hoped for. In addition, the latest we will upload sales is 10pm PST and the earliest is 8am PST.

• If you are unhappy about something, please discuss this with us calmly. Calling or emailing and hurling obscenities, insults, or disparaging remarks is not going to cause us to drop what we're doing and run to your aid. In fact, if you want to get shoved to the back of the line - this is the fastest way possible to get there. We treat all our clients fairly and professionally and we expect the same professional courtesy from each of our clients. Your payment to us is for web development. We are not whipping boys (or girls) for hire. Remember - it takes fewer muscles to smile than it does to frown. And when life gives you limes - make a limeade instead!

• At any given time, we are working with upwards of 6+ clients at once. We answer email as quickly as humanly possible and of course, answer emergency or uber important emails immediately upon reading them. If you have emailed or contacted us and have not received an answer, please consider how long it has been. If it's been 5 minutes or fewer, please give us a bit more time. In fact, one business day is not only an acceptable industry standard, it is actually ahead of the curve. We strive to get to all emails within the day they are sent. And as all our mothers have said at one point or another - patience is a virtue!

Design Policies

• Before site work will commence, all all required information must be in hand. This includes, but is not limited to, all product information (pricing, photos, weights, descriptions, options, etc), company information, purchase and return policies, shopping cart information (tax rate, shipping preferences, email notification preferences, etc) and entire site copy (verbiage for all pages in the site). It is your responsibility to make sure have required information to us in a timely manner as we will not work on your site before this information is presented to us.

• We are not copywriters. If we happen to catch an error in your text we will fix it. However, it is your responsibility to provide us with text that is in final form and web ready. We do not provide copywriting services.

• You have 10 business days to have required information to us. If you are going to need extra time, you must inform us as delays in this step tend to have a domino effect and will cut into the next client's design schedule. It is our goal to have sites completed within 10 business days of receiving your deposit. Delays on your part will only lengthen this process.

• We make every effort to design a site that is something you, the client, want. However, we cannot do this if you are unclear in making your wishes known. Please make certain that you know in advance or are able to reach an end decision once we start this design process. We cannot do unlimited page layouts, backgrounds, logo design, etc until one finally hits your fancy. For this relationship to function properly, you need to have a pretty good idea of what you are looking for.

• If, at any time during the design process, you become unreachable for any length of time, and do not notify us of this, please be advised that your site will be placed on hold and work will commence on the next person in line. When you do return, you will have to wait until any current sites being worked on are finished before your site is picked up again and finalized. We cannot stress enough how important good communication is during this process. One simple email can avoid a whole host of problems.

• We do not accept photographs, articles, blocks of text, page layouts, design ideas or anything else that has obviously been taken or plagiarized from another site. Remember, you are original and your site should be as well!

• All product photos or any other photos must be in website ready form. An additional fee will be incurred for cropping photos, cleaning up photos, sharpening blurry photos, brightening photos, and all other form of photo work - with the exception of sizing. We will size each photo one time for use on the site.

Billing Policies

• A 50% deposit is required to reserve your time slot and before any work will begin. You will not be added to the calendar or scheduled for any work until your deposit is paid. This deposit is non-refundable. Please make sure you want, need, and can afford the website before making your deposit.
Note: this deposit does not apply to jobs totaling less than $350. Any job total of $350 or less is due in full and payable up-front before work will be scheduled.. No exceptions will be made.

• Once site is complete, final payment is due. Once the final payment has been received, the site will go live. If you are hosting with us, the hosting fees will be due before the site will be live. If you are hosting elsewhere, we will transfer the site to your host upon final payment. If payment is not received within 10 business days of site completion, you will be charged a 10% penalty fee plus 5% monthly for every month the account is unpaid.

• All unpaid balances over 15 days are subject to a late fee in the amount of 10% of balance remaining, with a minimum charge of $25. Please pay your balances when they are due to avoid extra fees and possible website shut-down. We don't want to disable anyone's site, ever. If you need extra time to pay a balance due, please let us know this. We will work with you to reach a satisfactory solution...we're not loan sharks here!
